Follow these instructions to link a physical Tims Rewards card to your account.
On the app:
1. Select the ‘Rewards’ tile on the app ‘Home’ page.
2. Scroll down on the ‘Details’ tab to the ‘Link my physical card’ section.
3. Enter your 12-digit Tims Rewards card number and select ‘Link my Card’.
4. Close and re-open the Tims app to see the updated card and balance.
On the website:
1. Visit the Tim Hortons website.
2. Select ‘Points’ in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your 12-digit Tims Rewards card number and select ‘Link my card’.
4. Refresh the page to see your updated card and balance.
Having trouble? Here are a few things to note about linking your Tims Rewards card:
- Only one card can be linked to an account at a time.
- Your card number may include the letter “O” and/or the number 0. It can also include the letter "i" and/or the number 1. If you have any difficulty identifying the letters and digits that make up your card number, please reach out to our Guest Care Team—they’ll be happy to help!
- When you create a new Tims Rewards account on the app or website, you’ll automatically be given a digital Tims Rewards card with it. This digital card can be replaced by linking a physical Tims Rewards card to your account.
- You do not need to deactivate/delete the Tims Rewards Card that is currently on your account before linking your card. However, please note that the previous card will be deactivated once a new card is successfully added.
- Deactivated/Deleted cards cannot be reactivated or be used to accumulate Tims Rewards points again.
- Cards that are already linked to a different account cannot be moved from one account to another.
