Scan & Pay allows you to pay for your order, earn points, and redeem any eligible rewards or offers with a single scan of your Tims Rewards QR code.
You can find your QR code and Scan & Pay settings on the ‘Scan’ page of the Tim Hortons app. Scan & Pay works by linking a payment method—like a credit card or digital Tims Gift Card—to your QR code.
A digital Tims Gift Card is a payment method that you can use to pay for your order at Tims. You can add your digital Tims Gift Card to the Scan & Pay feature as a payment method.
To add a digital Tims Gift Card as your payment method for Scan & Pay:
1. Open the Tim Hortons app.
2. Select ‘Scan’ to open the ‘Scan’ page.
3. Next, turn on Scan & Pay.
4. . Select your digital Tims Gift Card from the drop-down menu. If you don’t see your digital Tims Gift Card, you may need to <add your gift card to the Tims app>.
Please note: You earn 10 points per $1 when you spend from your Tims Gift Card. You do not earn points when you purchase a gift card or reload it.
