When using your Tims Gift Card at a Tim Hortons restaurant, the balance of your Tims Gift Card can be put towards your order, and the remainder can be paid by cash, MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Discover (where accepted).
When you’re using a gift card to order through the app and don’t have enough funds, you’ll have two options:
- You’ll be prompted to reload your gift card with more funds directly in the app.
- You can also switch to an alternative payment method to pay for the remaining portion of your order.
